This blog is by leaders of a support group called SNAP, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, We are an independent, confidential, US-based non-profit dedicated to protecting the vulnerable and healing the wounded. Despite the word ‘priest’ in our title, we help women, men and children who have been sexually exploited at any age by anyone in any religious context. We started in 1988 and have more than 9,000 members across the globe.
